Blooms Management Services (BMS) provides support and partnership to over 100 successful Blooms The Chemist pharmacies. Our Pharmacists and team members have been delivering friendly expert advice and professional service to our communities for over 40 years.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join our team based in Mascot. In this role you will be responsible for buying and managing a segment of our non-pharmacy product range. You will do this by partnering with suppliers to develop and execute compelling ranges to drive long-term brand objectives.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Category management including industry trend and financial analysis.
  • Creation of compelling ranges showcasing relevant products at competitive value.
  • Product development focusing on exclusive private label product growth.
  • Maintenance of strong relationships with vendors and negotiating for exciting promotional plans and strong financial results.

Successful candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in buying or category management role
  • Experience in the health or FMCG industry (preferable)
  • Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Great negotiation and relationship building skills
  • High level of organisation and drive for results
