About the role

Parkes Mitre 10 is seeking a passionate Team Member to join our growing business in Parkes, NSW as a Trade Sales Assistant

This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our trade and retail clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to both trade and retail customers
  • Assisting customers with product selection and offering advice and recommendations
  • Processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Supporting the team in receiving and stocking new deliveries
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Delivery of trade orders
  • Keep trade yard safe and organised

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a retail or trade-focused environment, ideally within the hardware or building materials industry
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping customers
  • Good product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about a wide range of building materials and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
  • HR & Forklift licence (Or willing to acquire)
