Oceans Narrabeen is a fully licensed restaurant located at North Narrabeen. Our establishment prides itself on delivering an exceptional dining experience, offering fresh local produce from sensational coffee and delightful breakfasts to an array of fresh seafood, succulent steaks, gourmet burgers, and delectable ribs.

We offer Breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days per week, with around 100 seats when at full capacity.

We are looking for a Chef de partie who has experience working in busy cafes or restaurants and has a passion for serving delicious food. Great team environment, potential for growth and support from senior management. Immediate start. This is a full time ongoing position, 38 hours per week, Salary $76, % Superannuation.

Working alongside the Head Chef in a professionally run kitchen, your duties will include:

• Adherence to recipes & specifications in line with company standards

• Stock control including regular ordering & waste management, wastage sheets

• Health & Safety and Food Safety Compliance

• Be up to date with all allergy requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-past environment. Keeping a cool attitude

• High level of cleanliness and organising.

• Be an inspirational and motivating person, be part of the excellent drive the team has.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Managing and training any demi chefs or kitchen hands when working with you.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and work experience:

• Cookery Certificate or a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Driven and enthusiastic chef
• Sound knowledge of cookery and awareness of current food trends.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to implement and drive systems and procedures.
