About the role
Warradale Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic person to work as a Medical Receptionist and to join our friendly team in Warradale, SA. This is a casual role, providing you with the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our medical practice.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling booking inquiries
- Processing payments, handling cash, and reconciling daily transactions
- Providing general administrative support to the clinical team
- Ensuring the reception area is well-organised and presentable
- Maintaining confidentiality and following all relevant policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar healthcare administration role is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Desirable proficiency if possible in use of medical practice management software such as Pracsoft and Medical Director; and standard office applications
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate patient records
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to cover for other staff's sick and annual leave
