About the role

Tyrepower Bathurst is seeking an experienced Tyrefitter to join our team in Bathurst, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for the efficient and high-quality installation and maintenance of tyres for a range of vehicles. As a key member of our Automotive Trades team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

What you'll be doing

  1. Inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles
  2. Balancing wheels and aligning tyres to ensure optimal performance
  3. Providing exceptional customer service and advice on tyre-related matters
  4. Maintaining accurate records and inventory of tyre stock
  5. Adhering to all relevant safety standards and procedures
  6. Collaborating with the broader Automotive Trades team to deliver efficient and reliable services
  7. Wheel aligning vehicles if you have the necessary certificates and experience

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Tyrefitter in the automotive industry
  2. MUST have a license
  3. Strong technical knowledge of tyre types, installation, and maintenance
  4. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide expert advice
  5. Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
  6. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  7. Good physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
  8. Relevant trade certification or qualifications
