This is an exciting time to join Black Cat Syndicate Limited. With production underway at Paulsens and Kal East, a robust project pipeline, and rapid exploration across our tenements, the Company has a clear vision of sustainable multi-operation gold production.

With the recent acquisition of the Lakewood Processing Facility (Lakewood), we plan to mine new open pits and head underground within the third quarter of 2025.

We are seeking Geology Technicians to join our geology team at the Kal East Gold Operation, contributing to the long-term success of the Kalgoorlie project.

The position is FIFO from Perth or residential from Kalgoorlie. Lakewood is ~6km from Kalgoorlie, with our mining operations located within a 40km radius of the centralised processing facility.

The roster is 8/6, day shift only.

About the Opportunity

Working in close collaboration with Geologists our Geology Technician's key accountabilities include:

  • Participating in pre-starts and handovers to arrange daily work activities and prioritisation.
  • Processing of diamond drill core samples ensuring layout and orientation of core samples and meters are correct, marked up and cut, ready to go to the laboratory for analysis.
  • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping, ensuring remaining core samples, core pallets and chip trays are systematically stored and all data collected is recorded.

About You

We are looking for a person with a positive and motivated 'can do' attitudes, able to work collaboratively, and with a diverse range of people across all levels who understand we are all in this together.

In addition, we require the following:

  • Strong understanding and experience with processing of grade control diamond core.
  • Experience with meter marking, orientation, cutting, and sampling.
  • Competent with Integrated Tool Carrier operation highly regarded.
  • High-risk forklift licence.
  • C Class license (manual).
