Religious Education (RE) Teacher

Permanent Full-Time Position – Commencing Term 1 2026

Due to growth, the College seeks to appoint an innovative RE Teacher with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective RE lessons, provide guidance and support to students, and contribute to their overall academic and pastoral care.

Requirements of the role:

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Proven experience teaching Religious Education (RE) across Stages 4-6
• Planning and implementing effective teaching and innovative pedagogical practices
• Provide a positive and engaging teaching and learning experience for students
• Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning
• Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages preferred however not essential
• Working collaboratively in a Religious Education Faculty
• Ability to implement new syllabi
• Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
• Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
• Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning
• The ability to teach History would be advantageous though not essential.
