Your Role

Adele House is seeking a dedicated
Counsellor / Group Facilitator
to deliver meaningful therapeutic support to people experiencing problematic substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in
trauma informed practice
, deliver evidence-based interventions, and contribute to the recovery journey of clients in both individual and group settings.You will be joining a collaborative, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering impactful programs and supporting positive, sustainable recovery outcomes.

You Will Need

• Strong knowledge of trauma informed practice and evidence-based interventions
• Skills in facilitating therapeutic group programs.
• Ability to engage clients with empathy, respect and professionalism
• Experience working with clients presenting with AOD, grief and loss, and complex trauma.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a multi-disciplinary environment.
