Despatch Officer

What you will enjoy doing

  • You will check & maintain delivery due list, liaising with Central Logistics Team to ensure an efficient and workable schedule
  • Reconcile shipment inspection documents and liaise with Works Loaders to correct any errors
  • In addition, generate Dangerous Goods paperwork
  • You will monitor and action email and phone communications with Customer Service and other departments
  • Address same-day requests if resources permit or by incorporating them into the next day's runs.
  • Moreover, refresh customer data from driver de-briefs in SAP
  • Maintain and update department spreadsheets
  • Perform data entry in SAP

What makes you great

  • You have 2 to 3 years of experience in a dispatch position
  • Prior experience in logistics operations
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite
