COMPOUNDING PHARMACIST PART-TIME

This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly, motivated and customer-focused Compounding Pharmacist to join our fast growing business. In this fast paced, multi-faceted role, you will be working within a warm and fun team environment with our pharmacists, assistants, dispensary technicians and lab technicians.

About the role

Hours : Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9.00 to 5:00pm and Saturday 9 to 3 pm ( once a month only) There is potential for more hours in the future.

Start date: negotiable but likely to be January 2026

Specific training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Job tasks and responsibilities :

Dispensing and formulating compounded medicines including medicinal cannabis.

Counseling on medication

Answering phones queries

Overseeing laboratory and dispensary technicians

Dispensing PBS scripts and medicinal cannabis scripts.

The focus of the role will be to formulate, dispense and counsel on compounded medicines. We will provide you with adequate training to feel competent in this field however, previous compounding based experience is desirable for this position.

Skills and experience

  • Be a registered pharmacist with AHPRA (mandatory)
  • Previous work experience in an Australian-based pharmacy
  • Have a high level of written and oral communications skills
  • Be able to communicate well with a range of health professionals
  • Has the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Has good problem-solving skills
  • Has a good work ethic and diligent work attitude
