NDT Technician

The Obadare Group has a proud 10 year history of providing high quality engineering, manufacturing and support services to the mining, oil and gas sector and in particular the drilling industry. Currently we have a role within our inspection and integrity business for an experienced NDT technician.

We are based in Toowoomba and a majority of the work is based in the head office / workshop however, we are looking for someone that is flexible to work onsite and in-field throughout the Surat, Bowen and Cooper Basins. We are looking for the following skills and qualifications:

• NDT technician with 3 + years of experience
• Level 2 certification for MT, UT and/or ET
• Open driver's licence
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team
• High attention to detail

The following list of attributes and qualifications would be extremely desirable for either a qualified technician or trainee:

• Additional NDT certifications or higher qualifications
• Experience with hydrostatic testing
• ISI Safety Training
• Origin, QGC, Santos or Arrow site inductions
• Permit to work qualification
• White Card
• Working at Heights
• 4WD Training
• Confined Spaces
• Vessel Inspection

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to come into the business and ultimately someone who will help us grow the business. You will be on the front line and representing the company in the field.

Wage Details: 40 hours per week, permanent role with site allowances and overtime or flat rate options available - busy workshop with site work options. This role is not a FIFO role.

Pay: $38.00 – $48.00 per hour
