We're working with a premium Australian investment bank, headquartered in Sydney CBD, that is seeking a
Client KYC Analyst
to join their growing Operations team.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering long-term career growth in a high-performing, people-first culture.

As a Client KYC Analyst, you'll be responsible for ensuring all institutional clients are onboarded in accordance with local and global regulatory requirements, supporting key business lines including Advisory, Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end onboarding of institutional clients in line with AUSTRAC and global KYC/AML policies
  • Conduct periodic reviews, manage offboarding, and respond to trigger events
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to gather and validate KYC documentation
  • Contribute to operational risk controls and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Partner with Anti-Financial Crime and other infrastructure teams to improve the client experience
  • Support KYC-related projects and process improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in KYC/AML, with at least 2 years in Institutional Client Onboarding
  • Strong understanding of local KYC (AUSTRAC) requirements; global jurisdictional knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with Advisory or Corporate Finance onboarding is highly desirable
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment with strong attention to detail
  • Exposure to tools like Fenergo, IHS Markit, World-Check One, or BvD is a bonus
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
