Yard Hand – Steel Frames

Come and join the fun, energetic, and supportive team at H-Steel Framing, the Queensland division of a leading national powerhouse in steel frame and truss manufacturing.

With a strong pipeline of projects ahead, we are expanding our team and have several openings for motivated individuals to join our yard crew in Willawong, QLD.

This hands-on role will support the loading, unloading, and movement of steel frames and trusses, while also assisting with pick packing, stock control, and general yard duties.

Responsibilities:

• Safe loading and unloading of trucks and deliveries
• Handling and organising steel frames, trusses, and associated materials
• Pick-packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Conducting stock counts and assisting with inventory control
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard area
• Assisting with general labouring duties around the site
• Following company safety procedures and traffic control measures

About You:

• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction environment is preferred but not essential
• Forklift licence
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
• Reliable, hard-working, punctual, and willing to learn

Pay: $30.19 – $45.29 per hour
