The Role
We believe in the talent and strength of our team, so that, in aim to keep growing together, we are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our Construction team.
The person will be responsible for planning, design, organization and supervision of mechanical construction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assistance in the closing of mechanical assemblys subcontracts (measurements, price review, specifications).
- Progress control of the installation of the structure and pile foundations.
- Organization and review of the work of the mechanical erection subcontractors.
- Submission of the subcontractors progress in a weekly basis (foundations, structural assembly and modules) for reporting.
- Control and verification of the execution against the approved engineering. Include red line modifications at the drawings in case of any approved modification.
- Confirm the progress of the different subcontractor task for monthly certification.
- Control the arrival of the structure and supervise its distribution on site.
- Control of the compliance of the HSE Plan, SWMS, and other safety measures for all civil subcontractor workers.
- Cooperate with HSE and Quality teams for mechanical activities.
- Verification of work interference between activities
- Assistance at looking for new subcontractors to mitigate issues or delays at the activity.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Industrial / Mechanical engineering or similar degree.
- Three years of experience in the construction of photovoltaic plants doing the described functions.
