Lonsdale, South Australia ResourceCo Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

Your New Opportunity:

Looking for a physical, hands-on role where you can contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future? We're looking for Recycling Sorters to join our hardworking team at Lonsdale, South Australia.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be working outdoors and on your feet, helping sort and recover recyclable materials from demolition waste processed through our Crushing Plant. It's an active, team-based role that requires focus, reliability, and a good attitude.

If you're someone who isn't afraid to get stuck in and wants to be part of a business that genuinely values sustainability, this is a great opportunity to build skills and grow with a supportive team. No previous experience needed—full training is provided.

What you will be doing:

  • Manually sorting and removing recyclable and non-recyclable materials (plastics, wood, steel, etc.) from semi-processed construction and demolition waste
  • Supporting plant maintenance activities like greasing bearings, shovelling spillage, and clearing build-up from crushers and screens
  • Working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work as needed
  • Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures to ensure a safe worksite
  • Pitching in with a variety of tasks—no two days are the same

What you will bring:

  • A current Driver's Licence and reliable transport (essential)
  • Availability for full-time, on-site work during weekdays, with some flexibility for weekends
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in all conditions — including dust and mud — so a practical, hands-on attitude is essential
  • A team-focused attitude and willingness to take direction
  • The ability to perform manual work safely and consistently
