About the role:
The role will involve a variety of legal work, including:
- Drafting and advising on Dealer Agreements within the automotive industry, along with related documents like franchise policies, manuals, and franchising code documentation.
- Providing expert guidance on Franchising Code compliance matters.
- Negotiating and drafting IP licenses and handling assignments.
- Working on IT and Tech Agreements, including SaaS Agreements, and drafting Terms and Conditions for marketplace platforms.
- Handling Distribution Agreements, Supply Agreements, and Trading Terms.
- Offering advice on Consumer Law (ACL) and Privacy matters.
Managing a broad range of commercial contracts across various sectors.
Work Environment & Flexibility:
- Hybrid: 1 day WFH, 4 days in-office
- Team culture: Very flexible, open-door policy, and a collaborative approach
- Billables: 5.5 – 6.5 but not strictly enforced
The ideal candidate:
- Lawyer (2+PQE) with proven track record in general commercial law, IPT, and franchising with strong academic results.
- Relevant Legal Qualification/Admission.
