About the Team

The Technology & System Integration (TASI) team sits within KPMG's Enterprise Advisory division, delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to mid-market clients. Our team specialises in designing and implementing scalable, cloud-native integration architectures using platforms like Boomi, MuleSoft, and Azure Integration Services. We work in agile, cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions from strategy and design to deployment and support, enabling clients to unlock the full potential of their digital ecosystems.

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Integration Solution Architect to join our growing team. This senior role blends architectural leadership with delivery oversight, ensuring integration solutions are strategically designed, governed, and executed to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

Architecture and Strategy

  • Shape and Execute Integration Strategy: Define and drive system integration strategies aligned to business and customer priorities
  • Lead Solution & Platform Architecture: Own the overall design of integration solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
  • Establish Standards & Governance: Define and enforce integration patterns, frameworks, and delivery guidelines to maintain quality and consistency
  • Engage Stakeholders: Translate business needs into practical, future-ready integration solutions

Delivery Leadership

  • Plan and Oversee Delivery: Lead project scoping and planning, ensuring delivery teams are structured for success
  • Drive Execution: Provide hands-on guidance to resolve blockers, monitor progress, and keep delivery on track
  • Manage Risk & Quality: Ensure integration solutions meet quality standards and are delivered on time, within scope
  • Maintain Integration Catalog: Keep a healthy and up-to-date integration catalog, documenting solutions and promoting reusability across the organisation

Experience

  • Deep experience in architecting and designing integration platforms and solutions using MuleSoft or similar
  • Proven experience in an integration solution architect & delivery role, with a track record of successfully delivering complex integration projects
  • Strong understanding of integration concepts, architecture, tools, and technologies
  • Experience in defining system integration strategies and leading overall architecture
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and architect solutions that meet customer needs
  • Experience in leading planning activities and ensuring successful project execution
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain documentation and promote reusability of integration solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Relevant certifications in integration architecture and technologies preferred
