Why the role?

We're looking for a motivated and collaborative Junior Accountant to join our national Finance team on a 12-month full-time, fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset, and a passion for supporting the firm's ambitious growth journey.

If this sounds like you, your duties will include:

• Assist with timekeeping and support tasks for team members, including basic data entry and corrections.
• Help monitor outstanding invoices and contribute to monthly financial reporting.
• Support the preparation of performance and financial reports with guidance from senior staff.
• Assist with processing journals, maintaining registers, and reconciling accounts.
• Help maintain calendars and financial systems, ensuring data accuracy for new starters.
• Participate in regular reviews of financial data and support payroll-related tasks.
• Contribute to team initiatives and provide general accounting and administrative support.

Who are you?

• Undertaking (or have completed) formal accounting studies with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• High level of proficiency on Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
• You are a team player who values alternative perspectives and collaboration.
• High attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive activities while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are adaptable to the audience.
• Confident and able to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Adheres to firm values, compliance standards, and maintain confidentiality.
