About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a qualified Sprinkler Fitter to join our Western NSW Division, based out of Mudgee. Working on a 7/7 roster, you'll be part of a dedicated team servicing and maintaining fire suppression systems across multiple mine and commercial sites.

This is a hands on, field based role that includes scheduled servicing, diagnostics, fault finding and repairs to ensure compliance and the safe operation of fire suppression systems on heavy mining and industrial equipment. You'll be working with some of the industry's best known systems and components including:

• Mobile plant fire suppression systems
• Heavy vehicle and mining equipment suppression systems
• Pump sets, valves, and control equipment
• Wet and dry suppression systems
• Deluge systems

We'll support your growth with on the job training and fire industry mentoring, making this an ideal opportunity for a Sprinkler Fitter who's looking to diversify their skillset in the mining industry.

Experience and Qualifications

• Current Sprinkler Fitter qualifications and relevant licenses (e.g., Cert III in Fire Protection or equivalent)
• Previous experience in servicing commercial and/or industrial sprinkler systems (mining experience not required)
• Excellent workmanship, reliability, attention to detail and ability to work in a team
• A high standard of safety and a commitment to continual improvement
• An ability to work independently with a high level of communication and customer service skills
• An ability to prioritise and arrange service tasks and accurately complete service related documentation
• Valid manual driver's licence
