Description

We are seeking a qualified, experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our collaborative team in leading our 3-Year-Old Kindergarten program. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly regarded community service that values relationships, professional growth, and high-quality early childhood education. The Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality, play-based educational program aligned with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLF). You will work closely with families, educators, and the Committee of Management to support children's learning, wellbeing, and development. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement an engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate educational program, in collaboration with the Educational Leader.
• Foster strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Provide team leadership and mentor co-educators within the program.
• Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, Child Safe Standards, and all BRPS policies.
• Use regular observations and reflections to guide intentional teaching and ensure the program responds to each child's strengths, interests, and needs.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the service's Quality Improvement Plan.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
• Current VIT registration as an Early Childhood Teacher.
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications.
• Sound knowledge of the VEYLF, National Quality Framework, and Child Safe Standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
• Suitably equipped to be the Responsible Person and/or Nominated Supervisor of the kindergarten.
