About The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Fitter / Boilermaker Tradesperson to work within our Raw Materials Maintenance team in the Utilities department. Reporting to the Supervisor – Raw Materials Maintenance, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:

• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
• Completing maintenance and repair work on Materials Handling Conveying Transfer systems and associated equipment including Bauxite Unloaders, Alumina Loader and Dust Collection systems
• Identifying, developing and implementing improvements relating to the plant equipment, work processes and practices
• Taking responsibility for safety, work quality and quantity, training and learning
• Effectively communicating with section customers and peers to safely achieve maximum productivity of a high standard

What You Will Bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:

• A strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and teamwork
• Trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker
• A current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or be eligible to meet this requirement
• Self-motivation with a focus on customer service and continuous improvement
• Ability to work as both an individual and within a team environment supporting planners, supervisors, warehouse and purchasing teams
• Elevated Work Platform, Forklift, Dogging & Rigging qualifications would be highly regarded
