To support our growth, we are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team.

The Role

The Plumber will install, maintain, and repair water, drainage, gas and sewerage systems, while ensuring all work meets regulatory and safety requirements. The role requires flexibility, high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and good customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• · Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
• · Install, test, and maintain water supply systems, including hot and cold water lines and associated fixtures.
• · Install drainage, sewerage, and effluent systems, including below-ground drainage and sewer pumping systems.
• · Fabricate and install soil and waste stacks and sanitary fixtures (toilets, basins, showers etc.).
• · Install and maintain gas appliances and gas‐related piping and components, where licenced.
• · Install water heaters, solar hot water systems, water tanks, pumps, and other associated plumbing equipment.
• · Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• · Perform routine maintenance and repairs to plumbing, drainage, and gas systems in residential and commercial settings.
• · Respond to emergency plumbing issues (leaks, blockages, burst pipes etc.), diagnosing problems and carrying out corrective work.
• · Maintain records of work, time, metres of piping used, and materials; report job status.
• · Liaise with other trades, customers, site supervisors or project managers to ensure plumbing works are integrated with other building or renovation works.

Work Experience and Skills

• · Certificate 3
• · Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably 3 years
• · Skilled with fault finding, diagnostics, and the use of plumbing tools and equipment.
• · Good physical fitness and ability to work in varied environments (e.g. tight spaces, outdoors).
• · Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• · Valid driver's licence; willingness to travel to job sites.
