**Positions Available:**

We are currently seeking a motivated and inspiring Cook/Chef to join our dynamic team. As part of the PlayNest family, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our Springwood Centre.

**Responsibilities:**

The Cook/Chef is responsible for ordering supplies and preparing nutritious meals for our children. They will be required to hold a Food Safety Supervisors qualification and have reasonable experience in the preparation of meals, budgeting, menu planning and compliance in relation to the Approved Food Business. This role will be predominately school hours.

**Qualifications:**

Successful candidates will:

• A passion for creating and delivering healthy, nutritious and delicious meals and menus
• Possess a current Blue Card (for paid workers)
• Hold a current CPR and First Aid certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• Demonstrate the ability to follow instructions, understand routines, and maintain a high level of hygiene
• Embrace the center's values and philosophy
• Nurture authentic connections with children and families
• Collaborate with families and the community through interaction, curriculum, and documentation
