Our client is a leading wholesaler and distributor of security screws and architectural fasteners. They are seeking a proactive and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join their operations team on a temporary basis.

This role is key to ensuring accurate stock management, smooth warehouse operations, and efficient order fulfilment for customers nationwide.

Your key responsibilities
.

Our team is looking for a dedicated candidate who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

  • Checking inwards orders and receipting goods into the system quickly and accurately
  • Conducting quality control inspections of manufactured goods
  • Putting away inwards goods within agreed timeframes
  • Operating forklifts safely (current licence essential)
  • Picking, packing, and despatching customer orders
  • Repackaging and organising stock for distribution
  • Carrying out bulk stock movements as required
  • Maintaining accurate product data and internal stock adjustments
  • Participating in monthly rolling stocktakes and operations meetings
  • Supporting strategic warehouse and operations projects

About you.

To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

Required

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
  • Forklift licence (must have)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • High computer literacy for stock and product data entry
  • Organised, reliable, and committed to safe work practices
  • A strong team player with initiative to support business operations
