Full Time Yard Hand/Labourer

About the Opportunity Join the Qube team as a Yard Hand/Labourer and become part of Australia's leading integrated logistics company. Based in Newcastle, this full-time role offers hands-on work in a supportive environment where safety and teamwork are our top priorities. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in our busy yard operations, contributing to the efficient movement of goods across our network. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in getting things done, and wants to build a career in the logistics industry.

What You'll Be Doing

  • receival of general grain products using manual handling techniques
  • Operating yard equipment including forklifts and other machinery (training provided)
  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas
  • Following safety procedures and wearing required protective equipment
  • Assisting with container inspections and basic maintenance tasks
  • Supporting general yard operations and special projects as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Current Driver's license and reliable transport
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions
  • Basic communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Current forklift license preferred but not essential
  • Previous warehouse or yard experience welcome but not required

A pre-employment medical will be required prior to commencement.

  • Regular Drug and Alcohol testing conducted
  • Must be fit for work with a good level of fitness and general health
