About the role

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians / Handyman / Carpenters / Cabinet Makers / Shopfitters / vinyl floor layers to join our team at Barrett Building Solutions Pty Ltd.

This fulltime role will involve a diverse range of general maintenance repairs, carpentry, painting, line marking, vinyl floor repairs, cabinet making duties and variety of other commercial repairs, contributing to the delivery of high-quality maintenance, de-fits and refurbishment projects.

What the role entails

  • Perform on-site maintenance & repairs to a range of clients with tasks varying job to job and day to day
  • Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications
  • Maintain a safe and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  • Handyman / Maintenance Technician
  • Qualified carpenter / cabinet maker / vinyl floor layer with a relevant trade qualification or at least 5 years experience
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
