Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

As a Senior Marketing Cloud Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering scalable, data-driven marketing automation across Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, Personalisation, and Data Cloud. You'll be the go-to expert for implementing and optimising cross-channel customer experiences — partnering closely with brand marketing, data engineering, and analytics teams to bring campaigns to life.

• Own and optimise Salesforce Marketing Cloud configurations, automations, data extensions, and user management

• Develop complex automations and journeys using SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS

• Integrate Marketing Cloud with Data Cloud, web and app data layers, and loyalty platforms to power unified, real-time segmentation

• Design and deploy personalised campaigns across email, app, and web using Marketing Cloud Personalisation templates and real-time triggers

• Partner with analytics teams to ensure robust campaign performance tracking and insights

• Champion continuous improvement, leveraging Einstein AI and new feature releases to enhance customer engagement

• Contribute to MarTech innovation, working within a collaborative, globally connected team that blends marketing creativity with technical precision

• 3+ years' experience developing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages)

• Proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS

• Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Data Cloud, CRM, and other MarTech platforms

• A keen eye for data quality, customer segmentation, and marketing automation best practices

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills — translating business ideas into technical solutions

• Salesforce certifications in Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Administrator (highly regarded)

• Experience with Personalisation (Interaction Studio) and Data Cloud (CDP) is a huge plus

• Work across multiple global brands in a fast-moving, data-led marketing environment
