THE COMPANY
TS Global is an Australian-owned company that employs more than two decades of experience in producing a variety of premium-grade conveyor accessories and polyurethane products. We employ an exceptional team of engineers, manufacturers, and specialist maintenance technicians who possess the expertise to create and maintain cutting-edge solutions for materials handling systems throughout Australia.
THE ROLE
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, reporting to the Regional Manager.
This role will play a crucial part to the business with a strong focus on providing technical support, building and nurturing client relations and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer value.
KEY DUTIES
- Oversee and manage shutdown sites and crew
- Onsite maintenance support for TS Global products
- Ensure scheduled maintenance, repairs and inspections are completed within required deadlines
- Expand business for revenue growth and improve our market position
- Provide support for our clients, to maintain and improve the clients spend
- Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships
- Collaborate with operational teams and contribute to the development and input into the department's maintenance management plans
- Develop and execute business development opportunities
- Oversee contractual compliance
- Contribute to the development and achievement of sales budgets, market share, business growth and retention strategies
- Stimulating technical and non-technical innovation that improves customer engagement service delivery, quality and safety performance
- Ensure quality guidelines are met
REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical/Fabrication Trade
- Experience and knowledge in materials handling, conveyor belt systems, Polyurethane and associated components is highly desirable
- Mining and or shutdown experience
- Proven experience in shutdown maintenance supervisory or leadership role
- Strong customer centric focus
- Focus building new relationships and adding value to existing customers
- Able to work autonomously
- Strong business acumen and high level of attention to detail
- Exceptional customers relationship and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of computer skills
- Current Australian driver's licence
PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT
