We're looking for a passionate and skilled Mower Operator to join our Open Spaces team. In this hands-on role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining the parks, reserves, and green corridors that bring beauty, relaxation, and connection to our community.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintaining large and small public lawns using ride-on mowers and horticultural equipment
• Sticking to mowing schedules and managing daily workloads effectively
• Safely operating and maintaining a variety of plant equipment and vehicles
• Applying herbicides and slashing roadside vegetation
• Responding to customer service requests in a friendly, professional manner

What You Bring to the Team

Essential:

• Experience with front-deck and zero-turn mowers, tractors, and relevant implements
• A valid Victorian Driver's Licence
• The ability to work independently and take initiative
• Solid general horticultural knowledge

Desirable:

• Victorian MR Truck Licence
• Traffic Management Certificate
• Herbicide Spraying Licence
• Level II First Aid Certificate
