In the role of Small Business Banker, you will partner with local businesses in a diversified portfolio to provide bespoke solutions driving meaningful economic growth across the region. Mix up your week with office days and being out on the road meeting with clients at their place of business.
Each day, you'll go above and beyond to
- Proactively identify and establish new business and referral opportunities and utilise networks of BFS customers within Roma, Goondiwindi, Dalby and referral partners to meet income targets.
- Implement specific local competitive sales/income campaigns and initiatives to sell and promote tailored Bank products and services to small business owners in the region
- Prepare and submit for approval business lending proposals outside own authorities with full justification for recommendations, including obtaining and analysing industry and business information.
- Ensure adherence to internal operating policies and procedures, maintaining compliance standards in accordance with regulatory frameworks.
