Join the Civmec Team Civmec is excited to announce that we have been awarded a new Sodium Cyanide Expansion Project in Kwinana working Monday-Friday. This is a great opportunity for experienced Boilermakers to join our team This is your chance to contribute to a major industrial upgrade and work alongside a skilled, high-performing team. The Role Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:

  • Utilise all hand tools and forming machines to perform required functions
  • Perform welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW, MIG.
  • Mark out steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
  • Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
  • Follow quality control systems and techniques
  • Maintain correct and accurate MARK numbers on steel components
  • Cut, notch, drill, ream, shape and form steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
  • Housekeeping
  • Perform other general duties as required

About You To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate
  • Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
  • Current High Risk elevating work platform license and VOC
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
  • Previous construction experience
  • Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
  • Ability to pass a 3G/4G weld test
