What You'll Actually Be Doing

Look, we could say you'll be "providing excellent healthcare services" (which is true), but here's the real tea:

  • Dispensing meds and having the same conversation about taking antibiotics with food approximately 47 times a day
  • Playing detective when prescriptions look like they were written by a doctor having a seizure
  • Administering vaccinations and pretending not to judge people who are afraid of needles
  • Actually getting to do the cool stuff – medication reviews, health screenings, and innovative programs
  • Keeping everything legal and above board (because the AHPRA gods are always watching)
  • Managing Webster packs without losing your mind
What We Need From You
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (non-negotiable – we checked with the regulators)
  • Current AHPRA registration that's actually valid (expired doesn't count)
  • Vaccination qualification would be great, but we can sort that out
  • Ability to explain medication instructions to someone's grandmother without using medical jargon
  • Customer service skills that don't involve eye-rolling (at least not where patients can see)
