Boilermaker – Marine Civil Construction Project

Location: Williamstown, VIC

Employment Type: Contract (4–7 months)

Hourly Rate: $ Super + Overtime + Travel Allowances

About the Role: TRS Resourcing seeks a trade-qualified Boilermaker to join a high-profile marine civil construction project in Williamstown. The successful candidate will be pivotal in fabricating and assembling structural components for a marina boat stacking system. This site-based position demands expertise in heavy fabrication within marine or civil construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from detailed workshop and engineering drawings.
  • Perform oxy cutting and various metal fabrication tasks.
  • Prioritise tasks to meet project deadlines efficiently.
  • Operate both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strictly adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) guidelines and protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Boilermaker in marine or civil construction projects.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in oxy cutting and various welding techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of safety practices and regulations.
