About Us

Centre State Asphalting, a division of the VSA Roads group and part of Colas Australia is an innovative asphalt manufacturer and placement contractor.  It has a proven track record of delivering high quality works for a variety of clients including the Department of Transport, Councils and civil contractors.

Recent business expansion into road maintenance activities such as line marking has resulted in the need for an experienced Administration Officer to join our team on a Full-time basis. Initially based at our Castlemaine depot and relocating to Bendigo in the next 12 months, you will join a dynamic administrative services team. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth day to day office & crew operations, supporting internal and external stakeholders, and working closely with the Office Manager & Contracts Manager to contribute to our business processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Data entry across all administrative functions
• Accounts payable /receivable, payroll and stock management assistance
• Managing office & crew supplies and general housekeeping
• Assistance with contract administration
• Coordinating communications and reports to internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an administration support role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
• A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
