About the role

The ANM night role involves providing emergency surgery after hours access Monday-Thursday. This role is responsible in liasing with on-call surgeons in prioritising the index patients for the next days lists. The night ANM portfolio also includes providing a timely roster via Optima for the department.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Current registration with AHPRA
• Post Graduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing
• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
• A strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Minimum of 5yrs as RN/CNS in a Theatre Department

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
