Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical maintenance and repairs on various mining and drilling equipment, including cutting-edge control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using your expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with our team of PLC automation programmers to ensure seamless integration of automation technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Cert 3 Auto Electrician with a proven track record in the field.
  • Familiarity with PLC and CANBUS systems and a passion for keeping abreast of automation trends.
  • A/C licence and experience (preferred).
  • Truck diagnostics for Mercedes /Tatra/DAF.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Computer literate with ability to complete work orders and order parts.
  • Willingness to embrace the challenges and rewards of the mining and drilling industry.
  • Must be able and willing to undertake regular site visits.
