This permanent opportunity can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis (between 8am – 5pm) and is located in Turramurra
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to become a part of our diverse and supportive team at Turratots Early Learning in Turramurra.
Educating children in the Nursery, you will embrace educational programs which focus on children's independence to play, discover, and learn. You will have the ability to communicate the children's educational experiences with parents daily. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for educating children aged 0-2 and who actively embraces professional development and training.

What you'll be doing in this role
As a Diploma Qualified Room Leader, you'll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework
Your care work may include:
Development of programs which reflect the approved learning framework
Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community.
Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interest, strengths, and abilities.
Documenting children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes
Who we're looking for
Diploma in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service.
Experience in a Room Leader role (desirable)
A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF
Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
You'll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
