Fronditha Care is a longstanding independent not-for-profit Aged Care Provider that focuses on providing unique, culturally and linguistically diverse services to a wide range of consumers. Our organisation prides itself on our values of Respect, Do Right, Bring Joy and Inspire Better.

Presently, our Facility is seeking motivated, experienced Food Service Assistants and cleaners to join the team on a casual basis.

Requirements:

  • Undertake cleaning schedules for Food Service areas.
  • Notify cook/chef of any changes to menu or issues relating to service delivery.
  • Clean dishes, including loading and unloading dishwashers
  • Meet care recipients needs and choice on an ongoing basis in relation to food preparation, presentation and delivery.
  • Carrying food trays from food trolley to resident's bed
  • Manually handling supplies, stores and food items in and out of cool room and storage rooms
  • Cleaning all areas in the facility as specified on cleaning schedules
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is used according to instructions and always clean and fully functional
  • Reporting any dysfunctional equipment as soon as possible
  • Reporting of any hazards when identified
  • undertake stock control by monitoring quality of chemicals and report any problems

To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria, but not limited to:

  • Certificate in Food Handling
  • Food preparation and presentation
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety requirements
