Job DescriptionDue to a healthy pipeline of work, our Buildings & Places group are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team, based in Sydney.
As a Senior Engineer, you will support a range of projects for a broad range of clients on local, regional and interstate projects.
How you'll make a difference:
- Design and analyse buildings and other related structures to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations.
- Liaise with contractors, architects and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with design and construction requirements. Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and other stakeholders.
- Assist with reviewing drawings and calculations prepared by other engineers.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure timely completion.

- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent with experience working within a consultancy (preferred) experience in delivery of structural engineering projects
- Strong technical competence in structural design, Demonstrated understanding of Australian codes, standards and regulations
- High-level knowledge of engineering design software, such as ETABS, SPACEGASS, RAPT and RAM Concept
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop and maintain a strong working relationship with clients, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders
- This role requires you to be an Australian Citizen
