Maintenance Fitters

PACE Appointments is currently seeking Qualified and experienced Maintenance Fitters for multiple full-time, permanent positions with a range of respected clients located throughout Brisbane, QLD.

Locations: Inner Brisbane Suburbs, Ipswich, Logan, North Brisbane

Shifts: Rotating rosters and Day shifts 

Rates: $50-54ph with potential increases by end of year (client dependant) 

Work rights: Full working rights - no sponsorship available

This role will be a part of a team who provide day to day preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs of the plant.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on fixed plant machinery
• Routine inspections, servicing
• Fault finding and diagnostic repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic machines.
• Welding and fabricating
• Attending breakdowns and emergencies
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks, parts used, and time spent, utilizing computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work unsupervised and complete tasks in required time frame.

Requirements

• Previous maintenance experience in an Industrial or manufacturing setting
• Australian recognised trade qualification
• Welding/Fabrication experience
• Right to work in Australia
• Driver license and own reliable transport
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical and checks
