Speech Pathologist – Contractor or Employed,

ELEV8 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based therapy and consulting services to a diverse client base, including NDIS participants, aged care clients, occupational rehabilitation clients, and neurodiverse workers and their employers.

We support individuals across the lifespan, helping them build communication confidence and empowering workplaces to become more inclusive and supportive.

Your impact in this role:

Assessment and Intervention:

Conduct thorough speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments tailored to each client's functional needs and goals.

Inclusive Workplace Support:

Work with neurodiverse employees (e.g., those with Autism, ADHD, and other communication needs) and collaborate with their employers to implement practical tools, strategies, and resources that promote success at work.

Capacity Building and Coaching:

Educate clients, families, and employers on communication strategies, AAC options, literacy, and social interaction supports.

Holistic Goal Setting:

Work collaboratively to establish achievable goals, integrating individual and workplace needs to optimise outcomes.

Report Writing & Documentation:

Prepare detailed, goal-oriented reports for NDIS, aged care, and workplace settings, including progress updates and recommendations.

Team Collaboration:

Partner with other allied health professionals, support coordinators, families, and employers to ensure continuity of care.

Ideal candidate:

Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and registration with Speech Pathology Australia

Current driver's licence and willingness to travel (where required)

Working With Children Check (or your state equivalent), National Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Strong organisational skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Excellent communicator and confident in coaching clients, families, and teams

Committed to professional growth and passionate about inclusive practice

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
