ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join our team supporting our long-term detailed and bulk earthworks, electrical services, infrastructure and construction scopes in Rockingham, WA. The role will be initially based at our Balcatta office and transitioning to Rockingham in February 2025.

As the Site Engineer, you will be responsible for responsible for supporting the delivery of site works, ensuring quality, safety, and project outcomes are achieved.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Carry out project tasks within assigned scope, ensuring compliance with design, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Plan and organise resources, tasks, and timelines systematically to support successful project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure conformance with design specifications, safety, and quality standards.
• Provide technical input and support to project teams on design, construction, modifications, and repairs.
• Assist with procurement activities, supplier engagement, and subcontractor management.
• Contribute to project profitability by making informed decisions that balance cost, time, and quality constraints.
• Ensure project outputs meet budget, quality, and time requirements while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Anticipate and address potential hazards using sound judgement and proactive action.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• 1-3 years' experience as an Engineer, ideally possessing experience in Marine projects.
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Proven experience working on major projects (desirable).
• Ability to obtain and maintain Defence security clearance (essential)
• Australian Defence Force (ADF) experience is desirable.
• MUST hold relevant Australian working rights.
