ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about helping people unlock their potential and achieve their career goals?

As a Career Advisor, you'll provide specialist career and workforce development guidance to a diverse range of clients, including those facing economic or societal barriers, students at Wodonga TAFE, and senior students across four Local Government Areas. You'll also support other cohorts identified by the Victorian Skills Authority (VSA), ensuring they have the skills and confidence to succeed.

Selected Duties:

  • Support, assist and guide clients with their resumes, job applications and tips or how to conduct their job and career searches.

  • Provide excellent customer service which is respectful and inclusive to all stakeholders.

  • Write case studies, prepare correspondence, and ensure relevant reporting data and records are maintained.

  • Build networks and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Develop and deliver tailored workshops.

  • Organise and manage own workload effectively to meet KPIs and deadlines.

ABOUT YOU

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate IV in Career Development and or substantial employment experience working with clients facing economic and or societal barriers, senior school students, and other identified cohorts with their job seeking, career planning and education activities.
  • Current driver's Licence.
