About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Engineering team at our Larapinta site. You will lead the maintenance function across our automated sortation systems and depot equipment, ensuring preventative maintenance, rapid repairs, and safe, efficient operations.
This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment, combined with proven leadership skills to guide and develop your team.
This position is based at Larapinta but also provides support to local smaller sites across SE Queensland, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane Airport, Lismore, and Toowoomba, with transport provided for travel to other sites. This is a hands-on role when required.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of maintenance tradespeople, providing training, guidance, and support
Ensure preventative maintenance and rapid repairs of automated sortation and freight handling equipment
Maintain critical spare parts inventory and ensure tools and equipment are available for the team
Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures
Collaborate with the Engineering Leadership Team to drive process improvements and support the Engineering Strategy
Manage supplier and contractor relationships to ensure ongoing maintenance support
Promote a safety-first mindset and ensure compliance with WHS/OHS standards
About You
Skills & Experience:
Must be a 100% team player, have initiative, be a self-starter, and very motivated
Experience leading maintenance or reliability teams in continuous process or industrial environments
Strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance of powered industrial equipment
Knowledge of carton and package handling conveyor systems
Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical documentation
Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, 3 Phase motors, and pneumatics
Proven ability in process improvement and innovative problem solving
Qualifications:
Qualified tradesperson (Electrical or Mechanical)
Restricted Electrical Licence – desirable
Minimum 3 years' leadership experience in maintenance/reliability functions
Valid driver's licence
