Part-Time Cleaner - Aged Care

Donvale Gardens Assisted Aged Care

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cleaner to join our team at Donvale Gardens Assisted Aged Care.

About the Role

  • Part-time position (3-4 days per week)

  • 6 hour shifts (minus 30-minute unpaid break)

  • Hourly rate: $26.51-$28.62, depending on skills and experience (in line with the aged care award)

  • Negotiable for the right person who is a great fit for our family and community.

  • Location: Donvale Gardens Assisted Aged Care

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our aged care facility.

  • Clean residents room, common areas, and shared spaces in line with infection control protocols.

  • Assist in laundry and waste management as required.

  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience in an aged care or health care setting (essential)

  • Understanding of infection control and hygiene practices

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff and visitors.

  • Reliable transportation to and from Donvale Gardens

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
