Fabrication Planner:

  • Permanent full time position
  • 10hr day shifts
  • Monday-Friday Roster
  • Pinjarra based role
  • Long term career opportunity

Duties include:

  • Maintenance planning for Fabrication team
  • Liase with fabrication co-ordinators to make sure work packs are complete and materials have been ordered
  • Work with fabrication superintendent on delivering jobs to the execution team

  • Manage projects on day-to-day basis to maximize efficiencies

  • Weekly Progress reports updated and sent to clients on job status
  • Setting up work scopes for jobs once approved by client to go ahead
  • Ensuring quality compliance and completion packs
  • Keep fabrication bay planner/schedule updated
  • Update superintendent and managers with current job costs and progress weekly
  • Work closely with superintendent and leading hands daily
  • Close out completed jobs and send to internal teams to invoice
  • Keep internal and external customers updated with any changes to SOW
  • Attend weekly planning progress meetings for machine rebuilds
  • Arrange parts through purchasing and store departments as required
  • Review audit and parts lists to ensure they are correct
  • Monthly budget forecasting

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Maintenance/Fabrication Planner role or similar role
  • Previous experience in Mobile Maintenance planning and scheduling advantageous (Mining and Underground machinery preferred)
  • Manage projects on day-to-day basis to maximize efficiencies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Previous experience with Pronto or similar maintenance data base
  • Must be competent with Microsoft Excel, Word & Project
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Current National Police Clearance
