
Construction Office Administrator

Power Reinforcement is a rapidly expanding construction company. We are looking for an office administrator with experience working in the construction industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will also have a background in bookkeeping/payroll and will run our day to day administrative operations.
Your role will include:
All day to day administrative functions of a busy civil construction company
Staff onboarding
Creating and managing employment and ticketing matrix's
Client specific site onboarding requirements for various construction sites located throughout Australia
Coordinate and book medicals and manage police clearance requirements
Flights and accommodation bookings as required
Basic accounts processing (via Hubdoc) in readiness for payments, including cost code allocation
Collating weekly data from day sheets and preparing same for payroll
Processing payroll via Xero
Assist both Director and Operation Managers with day to day administration requirements
About you:
You will ideally come from a construction admin role ( at least 3 years experience)
You will need to be proactive, and not wait for daily instructions (ie – follow up ID and ticketing with new candidates, outstanding forms etc)
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing – you will be in constant contact with clients
Ability to think on your feet
An understanding of basic day-to-day bookkeeping
Experience with the following software is important:
o MS Office
o Xero, Xonboard and Hubdoc
o Adobe (electronic signatures, forms etc)
