About the role

Schur - Leader of the Pack since 1846' is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Storeman to join our team in Thomastown, VIC. Schur is a fast growing and dynamic flexible packaging manufacturer.

This full-time night shift role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehousing and distribution functions.

What you'll be doing

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming stock and materials
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders in a timely and organised manner
• Maintain proper storage and organisation of inventory
• Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Operate materials handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and effectively
• Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
• Collaborate with the wider logistics team to optimise warehouse processes
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and quality standards

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a warehouse storeman or in a similar logistics role
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse or logistics experience is required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Forklift licence and experience operating materials handling equipment
• LF forklift licence is required
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Australian work rights are required for this position
