Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth for our product range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Lead technical sales efforts: prepare proposals, perform product sizing and selections (heat exchangers, boilers, cooling towers), produce detailed specifications, and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to customise solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Present product advantages, ROI, lifecycle cost, and efficiency improvements to clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract negotiation and delivery follow-up.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets.
  • Track market trends, competitive products, regulatory changes, and feed insight into product development or positioning.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years (or more) experience in technical sales/presales in industrial thermal equipment (boilers, heat exchangers, cooling towers, etc.).
  • Proven track record of selling to large industrial/commercial clients—experience with tendering, contracts, and project-based sales preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to explain complex technical concepts in commercial/business terms.
  • Ability to travel as required to client sites/for trade shows.
  • Negotiation skills and business acumen, with the ability to generate profitable business.
  • Proficient with sales tools, CRM, and estimation/pricing software.
