Followmont Transport are currently seeking a motivated and detail-orientated individual to join our PM Freight Office team You will be responsible for the completion of the day-to-day tasks including administration duties, customer enquires and email monitoring. This Full-Time, entry level role is integral to our operation and would suit a friendly, positive, and motivated individual who has an interest in developing their career within the transport industry. 

The Role:

  • Monday to Friday | 6:30pm - 2:36am | Full Time Permanent
  • Prepare and sort linehaul paperwork to ensure drivers depart on time and business requirements are met.
  • Complete reporting and administrative tasks accurately to support daily operations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, proactively communicating issues, delays, or special requirements.
  • Manage and respond promptly to incoming emails from both internal and external customers.
  • Print customer paperwork and create consignments in internal systems as required.
  • Oversee and complete administrative duties for the PM Operations shift to ensure smooth depot operations.
  • Act as a liaison between drivers, customers, and internal teams to maintain service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

What we are looking for:

  • Administration experience preferred, but not essential
  • Experience within the transport industry is also highly regarded
  • A team player who is willing to provide support to the wider team
  • A strong level of communication and problem-solving coupled with the ability to work within a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Have a passion for providing exceptional customer service & interpersonal skills
